Application Form – Community Development Scholarship Programme

Welcome to the YG Community Development Scholarship Programme application page. 

Please take time to fill this form very carefully as only correctly and fully completed applications will be treated.

In order to be eligible to apply graduates must:

  • Be aged 23 to 30 with a degree or equivalent and
  • Have graduated with a minimum of a second class (2:1 or 2:2) or equivalent
  • Be ready to share documents that confirm all declarations
  • Be ready to commence study by October 2021.
  • Be interested in pursuing a postgraduate qualification with a minimum duration of 3 months and a maximum duration of 1 year in any area of study in any of the selected postgraduate schools.
  • Must provide two (2) references. One being a traditional title holder and the other, an individual with professional standing.

    References

    You are required to provide two (2) people from the community you intend to help develop. Please note that these 2 people shall be contacted and, for your application to be successful, they need to know you and vouch for your character. One of the referees has to be a traditional title holder and other has to be a member of clergy or an individual of professional standing (eg. Principal, Doctor, etc).
